McNellie’s Donates Extra St. Patrick’s Day Event Sales To Little Light House

A Tulsa bar and restaurant made the most of Wednesday’s surprise bad weather.

McNellie’s sold about 800 tickets to their outdoor St. Patrick’s Day event, but due to the weather, only about 100 people showed up.

The owners decided to donate the money from the extra tickets to the Little Light house, which teaches children with special needs.

“Better this year than last, knowing we’ll be open tomorrow for lunch, so it’s easier to keep a positive spin on it,” Elliot McNelson with McNellie’s said.

Some customers still arrived to spend part of the holiday inside and out of the weather.
