SBA Hosts Virtual Tribal Consultation Meeting

The U.S. Small Business Administration will be hosting a virtual tribal consultation meeting on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.

According to the administration, the meeting is meant to strengthen its technical assistant program with undeserved businesses.

The SBA said this is part of a Presidential Memorandum requiring federal agencies to submit a plan for implementing Executive Order 13175.

Registration for the meeting must be completed by Sunday. For those interested in attending, you can submit registration request to chequita.carter@sba.gov

Muscogee Creek Nation Hosts COVID-19 Vaccination Event

The Muscogee Creek Nation will partner with Indian Health Services to deliver 4,000 vaccines over two days.

The event will take place at the River Spirit Expo Center on Friday and Saturday.

The event is for all natives 18 and older, their non-native family members, and caregivers of native households.
