A Union High School student is still shocked after she said a complete stranger attacked her, then threatened to shoot her and her friends.

The 17-year-old said she was at an intersection, when a woman started screaming at her and even followed her to school.

The student, Tierney, is a junior at Union High school and she was just driving back to school from lunch last week. She said the woman who followed her, punched in the face, and yanked out her car by her hair and Tierney said she has no clue why.

"I went to get out of my car and I just remember getting punched in the face then she took me by my hair and dragged me like 12 feet from my car,” said Tierney. "The entire time she was just yanking my hair and pulling me everywhere. I just started swinging because I didn't know what to do."

Tierney said the man who was with the attacker tried pulling the woman off Tierney.

"I heard her say she was going to shoot me and my friends, so we just took off running towards our cars because we saw her reach into her car,” said Tierney.

Tierney said the attack was completely out of the blue. She said she and her friends were driving back from lunch when the woman started yelling at them. They didn't know why, so they drove back to school.

"No one really knew what was happening until I got yanked out of my car by my hair. My cheek bone was swollen and red and I had scratches and under my lip was busted from her kicking me in the face,” Tierney said.

Tierney filed a police report and hopes the woman gets caught so this doesn't happen to someone else.

"I feel like it could have gone way worse, it could have escalated and like freaked out and grabbed a gun, if she had one, I do think she had one since she reached into her car,” said Tierney.

Union Public Schools said they are really thankful Tierney and her friends are okay. Tulsa Police tell me they are assigning an investigator to the case.

If you recognize the woman, call Crime stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
