No Injuries Reported In Tulsa House Fire

Firefighters are responding to a house fire at North Denver Ave and East Latimer next to the Fulton Street Bookstore.

Tulsa fire crews say three people were inside the home when the fire began including a 95-year-old woman. Her son and his friend helped get her out safely before calling firefighters at around 7:30 a.m. TFD says they are lucky to have gotten the fire under control so quickly because there were not any working smoke detectors in the house. Firefighters say there was heavy smoke when rounding the corner of Denver and Latimer that the fire started in the basement and extended to the floor above.

The exact cause of the fire has not yet been released but TFD officials say it appears to have been accidental.
