Veteran Salute: Elmer Klein

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we're recognizing Elmer Klein.

Elmer served in the Philippines, and it was his job to find American soldiers so they could be brought home to their families for burial.

He has since retired and lives in Oklahoma City.
