Friday's teacher of the day is Cheyenne Mathews, a fourth-grade teacher at Broken Arrow's Highland Park Elementary.

The person who nominated her said "she's worked diligently by seeing students through the pandemic while also starting off the year with a new baby. She works hard everyday making sure the students have the best learning environment so they can excel. Her students love her and it shows."
