University Of Tulsa Women’s Golf Clinch Conference Title

The University of Tulsa women’s golf team took home the gold in the American Athletic Conference title Tuesday.

The team clinched their first conference title since 2012 with this win and the first in the American Athletic Conference.

"It was a challenge this year, but they're such a great group of girls. I'm so impressed with them, just a gutty performance by our girls," head coach Annie Young said. "We're going to enjoy this and then we'll get back to work, but we're going to enjoy this."

Lorena Tseng was the individual runner-up in the championship, shooting two-under par 70 for a 54-hole total of 216.
