Watch: News On 6's Own LeAnne Taylor To Be Inducted Into NATAS Heartland Chapter Silver Circle

News On 6's own LeAnne Taylor got a surprise Friday when she found out that she will be honored by the Heartland Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Taylor will be inducted into the academy's Silver Circle, which recognizes those who have "devoted a quarter of a century or more to the television industry, and who also have made a meaningful and significant contribution to broadcasting."

LeAnne is one of two broadcasters being inducted this year in the Heartland region, which includes Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Wyoming.

She is only the second News On 6 anchor to be inducted, joining Clayton Vaughn.
