Kansas Deputies Searching For 2 Escaped Cherokee Co. Inmates

The Cherokee County Kansas Sheriff's Office is looking for two inmates who escaped the jail Monday night.

Deputies say Mark Hopkins was awaiting trial for a double homicide and Michael Martsolf was in jail for drug-related crimes. Both men have a history of resisting arrest and should be considered armed and dangerous according to the Sheriff's Office.
