2 Shot At Hillcrest Medical Center, Including Employee, Tulsa Police Say

Tulsa Police are investigating after two people were shot near Hillcrest Medical Center Thursday night.

Police said the shooting happened around 9 p.m. Thursday, right outside the ER at Hillcrest near 11th and Utica.

Police said the shooting involved a Hillcrest employee and another person and said their injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.

Hillcrest issued the following statement,

"We are working with TPD to determine the facts related to this incident. Security personnel are stationed across the medical center's campus; the safety of our employees and patients is our top priority. We will continue to work with the authorities to ascertain the facts and will provide updates as possible.”
