Broken Arrow Middle School Student Writes, Publishes His Own Book

A middle school student in Broken Arrow is raising money for college by selling his own book.

Beaumont Morris wrote the book “Chubby Gus: The Everyday Life of an Adventurous Hamster.”

It’s all about the hamster’s adventures after its adopted from a pet shop and it includes some real places in Broken Arrow.

Beaumont said he read the book to his parents, who encouraged him to publish it and write more stories.

“Chubby Gus” is now available on Amazon.
