Food On The Move Kicks Off Monthly Community Block Parties

Food On The Move is hosting it's first of many community block parties Tuesday evening at Chamberlain Park.

The event will have a festival like atmosphere with music, food trucks and activities.

It starts at 5:30p.m. and is a "pay what you can" event so guests can still support the non-profit while also ensuring families in need have access to groceries, a hot meal and other community resources.

Food on the Move will continue its mission through these monthly events, serving two locations within north Tulsa food deserts—Chamberlain Park and Greenwood Cultural Center. The first monthly event at Greenwood Cultural Center will be held Tuesday, July 27th.
