The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed the death of two people after a collision Sunday night.
The collision happened just after 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of State Highway 67 and South Elwood Avenue.
According to police, a car was driving southbound on Peoria when it crossed State Highway 67 after it ran a stop sign. This caused a car driving eastbound to T-bone the car.
46-year-old William L Sampson and 47-year-old Mabel Williams were ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger in the eastbound vehicle were rushed to a nearby hospital.
OHP said it is investigating the cause of the collision.
