Tulsa police said two people have been arrested for being inside of a stolen car and tossing a gun out of a window. Police said they were called to back up Broken Arrow Police around 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

Tulsa Police said Broken Arrow detectives were following the car and the driver, Megual Crittenden, and a passenger, Rebeccaa Montgomery, were heading down Highway 169 and exited onto Admiral. Tulsa police said officers responded to the area of Admiral and Mingo when the car pulled into a mobile home park.

Investigators said a backpack was thrown out of the passenger window but one of the officers retrieved it and found a gun inside. Crittenden and Montgomery were both taken into custody.

Police said marijuana and meth were also found inside the car. Records indicate both people are in jail for possession of a stolen car and drugs.
