Former Bixby Teacher Pleads Guilty To Attempting To Receive Child Porn

A former Bixby teacher pleaded guilty in federal court to recording underneath a student’s skirt with his cell phone.

46-year-old Jason Byrd pleaded guilty to the recording and for attempting to receive child porn.

He also admitted to deleting the pictures off his phone so they couldn’t be used as evidence.

Byrd taught math at Bixby High School for 12 years. He was suspended around this time last year. He will be sentenced in December.
