Tulsa Police are searching for someone they said took cash at gunpoint from another man who had just won a jackpot at a casino.
Detectives said the suspect started talking with the victim inside the casino, then they decided to leave together and a few minutes later, the victim had a gun pointed at him.
Tulsa Police say the victim was inside the River Spirit casino on September 6, when he was approached by a man.
"He struck up a conversation, for some reason or whatever they were talking about, this person decides to leave the casino with this other party," Tulsa Police Lt. Justin Ritter.
Ritter said the victim then got in the car with the suspect and they drove a few blocks away to 89th and Delaware. Ritter said that's when the victim was robbed at gunpoint of his casino winnings.
"The suspect that the victim met at the casino pulls a gun and ends up robbing the victim of cash,” said Lt. Ritter.
Ritter said the amount of cash was pretty substantial and there's a chance the suspect knew the victim won money.
"Reading between the lines, yeah we think that probably the suspect knew some money was won and developed a plan from there,” said Ritter.
He said they've been working this case since the night it happened. He said they aren't sure if this particular suspect has done this before, but it's common for people to be targeted after winning money at the casino.
"Be familiar of your surroundings,” said Ritter. “If someone you don't know comes up and talks to you, it's common sense not to leave in a vehicle with them because you don't know them or what's going to happen.”
Tulsa Police said the victim was physically OK but was pretty shaken up.
If you recognize the man in the pictures, call Crimestoppers at 918-596-COPS.
