Tulsa Police say one person was stabbed multiple times overnight at an apartment complex near 71st and South Lewis.
Police say the stabbing happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Chateau 68 apartment complex.
According to police, a resident at the complex said his neighbors downstairs were being too loud, so he went downstairs to confront them. Police say during the confrontation, the resident ended up stabbing his downstairs neighbor with a box cutter five times, including in the neck and face.
Police say the victim then hit the suspect with a golf club multiple times and a woman, who also lives in the downstairs apartment, hit the suspect with a pole.
Police say the victim, who was stabbed, ran from the scene and police had to call him and convince him to come back. He was treated for his injuries at the complex, but police say he refused to go to the hospital.
TPD told News On 6 that the victim does not want to press charges and the suspect is Native American, so officers did not take anyone into custody for the stabbing.
