Sand Springs Police Search For Driver Who Led Officers On Overnight Chase

Sand Springs police are looking for a driver who led officers on an overnight chase.

According to police, it started as a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over, leading officers on a pursuit.

Police say the driver led officers on a chase from Sand Springs to Tulsa, then back toward Sand Springs again.

Officers eventually ended the chase because they say the car was going too fast and at one point, the driver turned their headlights off.

Officers later found the car abandoned near an entrance ramp at Highway 412.

Police are now searching for the driver.
