Veteran Salute: Hoy Anderson

News on 6 is proud to recognize veterans across Green Country.

Today we want to recognize the service of the late Hoy Anderson from Peggs. Anderson served in Europe during World War II and received several awards for his service. When he returned home after the war, he married his wife Nancy. They were married for 50 years and had 7 children, 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Anderson passed away earlier this month, just a few weeks before his 100th birthday. We thank you so much for your service.
