We are hearing from people who witnessed a deadly rampage at a Bedlam party in Claremore over the weekend.
"There was death in his eyes. When he swung around on the second hit, I saw his face as clear as day. I'll never forget,” said Jason Medlock whose wife was injured after being hit by the truck.
Rogers County Investigators say Clinton Cottom was kicked out of the party, then used his truck to plow into a crowd, killing one woman and injuring two others.
Medlock said this was rage like he's never seen before. He says all his friends were just there to watch football, now he has a wife in the hospital, a best friend is in critical condition, and another very close friend is dead.
"I've never seen somebody, I am going to kill you, with a pickup truck, and now, and he tried to get everybody. Anybody that is out there that says that man didn't have any kind of intent, doesn't know what they are talking about,” said Medlock.
Rogers County Investigators say Cottom went to the Bedlam party uninvited and heavily intoxicated, then started making sexual advances toward women at the party, so he was asked to leave. Deputies say after Cottom left, he went home, got his truck, then came back. Investigators sat that’s when he plowed into a crowd of people, hit several cars with the truck, and flipped his vehicle, pinning one woman underneath and killing her. We've learned the woman who was killed is Terri McCauley. Medlock says his wife was hit by the truck so hard it popped her bladder and she is currently in the hospital with serious injuries. Medlock says she was trapped under the truck and after rescuing her, he tried to help McCauley but it was too late.
We requested an interview in jail with Cottom but he said no. Investigators say Cottom could face more charges.
