Muskogee Police Department Loses 20-Year Veteran To Heart Attack

The Muskogee Police Department has lost a 20-year veteran of the force.

The department said Lieutenant Kevin Hammons died on Saturday from complications of a heart attack.

Muskogee Police gave News On 6 the photo of Hammons with Ted Nugent, when Hammons worked security at Nugent's concert in Muskogee.

Lieutenant Hammons' wife is asking that donations be made to the Warner High School Marching Band instead of flowers.
