Man Hit By Car While Crossing Street With Shopping Cart, TPD Says

A man pushing a shopping cart was hit by a car in Tulsa Tuesday evening.

According to Tulsa Police, the man was crossing Lewis Avenue near 61st Street when a black car traveling north failed to see him in the road and struck him.

The TPD said the man was not gravely injured but did have a bloody face and tender rib cage.

The names of the driver and the suspect have not been released.
