The Oklahoma State Department of Health is offering some safety guidance for holiday gatherings.
The Department says small gatherings with people you know are safer than large, public gatherings.
If you have any symptoms, you should not host or go to a gathering.
The OSDH says to avoid crowded or poorly ventilated areas and outdoor gatherings are the safest.
The department says masks are recommended even for those fully vaccinated at public indoor gatherings with high spread rates.
According to the OSDH, you should watch your distance and wash your hands frequently.
Lastly, it says to get tested for the virus and to put off travel until you are fully vaccinated.
