At least seven Tulsa Public School locations will be in distance learning on Friday because of staffing shortages.

The semester just started Tuesday for TPS but McLain and Rogers High Schools have been in distance learning all week. More schools will suspend in-person learning starting Friday including Emerson, Hale, Monroe, Hawthorne, and Skelly.

Other districts are also being impacted as Broken Arrow Freshman Academy students will be remote on Friday because too many staff are out sick. Union has moved the entire district online for Friday's classes and Claremore Public Schools says Will Rogers Junior high will be in distance learning tomorrow.
