PSO Receives National Award For Hurricane Ida Response

Public Service Company of Oklahoma is getting national recognition for its response to Hurricane Ida last summer.

More than 100 PSO workers spent two weeks in Louisiana helping get power back on for residents impacted by the storm.

The crews faced extreme heat, flooded roads and even alligators while on the job.

On Tuesday, PSO was selected for an industry award recognizing its emergency response efforts.
