Man Dies In Fatal Mayes County Crash, According To OHP

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a Chouteau man died at the scene of a crash in Mayes County Sunday afternoon. The OHP said William Richard Muhlhauser, 35, was pronounced dead by MESTA EMS due to injuries suffered in the crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said a Chouteau man died at the scene of a crash in Mayes County Sunday afternoon.

The OHP said William Richard Muhlhauser, 35, was pronounced dead by MESTA EMS due to injuries suffered in the crash.

The crash occurred on CR South 432.9 about 3 miles southeast of Chouteau. Mulhauser was driving a 2009 Polaris 850.

The OHP did not report any other vehicles involved and said the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
