Operation Slick Streets In Effect In Bartlesville

Operation Slick Streets has been activated by the Bartlesville Police Department.

Under "Slick Streets" officers will not be responding to non-injury accidents or accidents that do not involve an impaired driver or a disabled vehicle blocking the roadway. Anyone involved in a minor traffic accident can exchange information and complete an accident form at a later time.

"This will continue throughout the winter weather event, likely until Friday or Saturday," said Deputy Chief Rocky Bevard. "We will continue to monitor conditions and advise when BPD returns to normal operations regarding response to non-injury accidents."
