National signing day tops the sports desk.
Booker T. superstar Gentry Williams is sticking with the Sooners.
After the top-rated player in the state didn't sign in the early signing period, speculation ramped up that he'd look elsewhere after the OU coaching change.
However, Williams is staying home.
He joins a defensive-heavy list that signed today, including edge-rusher Kevonte Henry, a flip from Michigan.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys added three other players to complete their 2022 signing class.
Headlining today's group is Berryhill offensive lineman Davis Dotson, Texas High School wide receiver Stephon Johnson, junior, and junior college d-lineman Seleti Fevaleaki.
The Pokes have a top-25 class, according to rivals.
The Golden Hurricane added three newcomers today as well. A Beggs defensive back, Kyron Grayson signs with TU, along with Texas High School's defensive lineman Vontroy Malone and tight end Connor Vaughn.
Former Jenks receiver Isaiah Epps also officially signed, after enrolling for the spring semester
