Watch: Valentine's Day Treats With Glacier Chocolate

You have three days left to get your Valentine's Day gifts but if you’re looking for something fun to do instead, Glacier Chocolate in Tulsa has a class where you and your sweetheart can make a sweet treat together.

Think chocolate mousse, whipped cream, and strawberries.

"This is our Super Bowl. Literally our Super Bowl week,” said Glacier Chocolate Chief Operating Officer and Chef Gene Leiterman.

Inside the Glacier Chocolate production facility, you’ll find rows and rows of chocolate-covered strawberries, heart-shaped boxes full of truffles and delicately crafted desserts.

The sweet treats are all handmade with detail and love.

"It is the busiest two weeks of the whole year for us,” Leiterman said.

He says sales and preparations around Valentine's Day are about the same as the entire month of December.

Employees work overtime, even with extra help.

"We have lots of people working hard to make a variety of chocolate-covered strawberries, truffles, turtles, all of the sweets that you can imagine in our stores,” Leiterman said.

Leiterman's teaching a couple's class where you can make this chocolate dessert as a team.

The first was last weekend, and he says it was such a success, he's opening another for next weekend. 

"I think it's fun because a lot of times, it looks like something that's really complicated, but it's really easy. And they get to do it together. With all the cooking shows on TV right now and cooking challenges, it's really fun and interactive,” Leiterman said.

He says if you're a last-minute shopper, head to the stores early to get the perfect gift for your Valentine.

No matter how you ring in the holiday of love, hopefully, the treats you eat are just as sweet as the ones you share them with.
