Rollercoaster Of Temperatures Expected Across Green Country This Week

Sunday’s forecast is around our normal for this time of year. That will change starting Monday.

Our highs Sunday will range from the upper 40s to the middle 50s. There will be sunshine and wind gusts will not be as strong as they were earlier this weekend.

Monday is when the big warmup arrives. Much of Green Country is expecting highs in the mid-to-upper 60s for Monday and Tuesday. Those high temperatures in Tulsa will have us anywhere between 10 and 15 degrees above normal.

The big change is expected Wednesday as rain moves into the area. There is a chance a cold front could come along with the rain. Early models suggest that possibility could be much-needed rain or perhaps some winter precipitation.

Whether rain or winter precipitation, the models indicate it could be out of northeast Oklahoma by Thursday.
