Arkansas Boy Donates Mullet Competition Money To Foster Care Organizations

A 12-year-old boy from Arkansas is taking his pandemic hairdo and turning it into a prize-winning act of charity. When asked why he wanted to donate the money to foster care, Allan said, "I was in foster care and I know completely how it feels."

A 12-year-old boy from Arkansas is taking his pandemic hairdo and turning it into a prize-winning act of charity.

Allan Baltz's decided to grow a mullet during the pandemic. He even got a perm once it was long enough.

Allan decided to enter an online mullet competition and donate the prize money.

"When I heard there was, like, $2,500 I'm like, 'I'm just gonna donate it to the foster care if I win," said Allan.

When asked why he wanted to donate the money to foster care, Allan said, "I was in foster care and I know completely how it feels."

Allan ended up winning and donating his prize.

The community also heard his story and made $4,500 in independent donations to local foster organizations.
