A group of Afghan refugee children joined teams in a Tulsa youth soccer program Saturday morning.

The West Side Alliance Soccer Club is offering scholarships to refugee children who want to play in the club.

"We have scholarships for these kids to offer them, where when it comes to soccer, if you don't have the money to play, we have a spot for you," Tyler Campbell with West Side Alliance Soccer club said.

"In Tulsa, I am very happy here. The people of the United States and (the) people of Tulsa are very kind people and I'm very happy here. And now I'm in WSA soccer club, my teammates are very very kind, very very good people. Great. I love it," said Azatullah Haidari, an Afghanistan National Football Team Player.

The club is also offering clinics for the players.
