OKC, Moore Firefighters Battle Apartment Fire

Firefighters from Moore and Oklahoma City worked to put out a blaze at an apartment complex on Sunday.

Crews contained the fire in a room at the Countryside Village Apartments near SE 89th and Shields.

"The configuration of the apartment was a little bit confusing once they got inside, but once they got in, they pretty much kept it contained to the apartment where it originated," Moore Fire Battalion Chief Greg Lindsay said.

Crews said they did not find any smoke detectors inside the home.

No one was injured.
