2 People In Custody After Deadly Shooting In Claremore

Rogers County deputies say a man and his mother are in custody after a deadly shooting in Claremore on Sunday evening.

Sheriff Scott Walton says the victim was riding his motorcycle when he approached Gary Hubble's driveway and the two started arguing.

That's when deputies say Hubble pulled a gun on the victim and shot and killed the man.

According to the sheriff, the suspect's 78-year-old mother, Lynda O'fields has also been arrested. Sheriff Walton says she gave her son the rifle, knowing he is an ex-con and can not have a gun.

The Sheriff also says the OSBI is helping in the investigation.

According to Sheriff Walton, he does not think the victim had a weapon, and there is no reason to believe the victim and suspect knew each other.
