Low Humidity Expected To Increase Chances For Fire Danger

Temperatures are already 20 degrees warmer than they were Saturday, but the fire threat is also poised for an increase Sunday.

Low humidity, coupled with gusty winds from the south above 30 miles per hour, are some of the reasons for our wildfire threat.

The fire weather warning, which will cover all of western and central Oklahoma as well as some Green Country counties, will last until 9 p.m. Sunday.

Highs in and around Tulsa will hover around the mid 60s for the next couple days. We could see 70-degree highs by the middle of this week.
