Sales tax revenue is paying for some changes happening at a lake in Bartlesville. Lee Lake on the east side of Bartlesville is getting new parking lots thanks to sales tax revenue generated after voters approved the plan in 2020.

The new asphalt lots will replace the gravel parking by the lake and dog park and will be connected by a new road as well. The city said the project also involves building a new 75 by 100-yard soccer field south of the lake, along the east side of the existing fields.

This $23,000 project should start late this summer or early fall.
