Bulls will be bucking and riders ready in just a few hours as the PBR in downtown Tulsa kicks off tonight.
At the BOK Center, 750 tons of dirt are packed on top of the ice rink. It's just one part of all the work that goes into making the PBR come to life in Tulsa. The dirt is down and final preparations are underway as some Professional Bull Riders attempt to claim a victory this weekend.
"The transformation is incredible," said Dan Hickman. "When we first come in, we put down material to protect the ice, we put up our lights and screens and sound systems and the dirt comes in."

Senior Vice President of Production Dan Hickman said 40 of the world's best bull riders will ride some of Oklahoma's best bulls starting tonight.
"We've been coming here for years and years so it's a great place for us," Hickman said. "We love the fans here."
A recent agreement with PBR and Tulsa will bring the competition to the BOK for the next 5 years. This weekend's competition will be a big deal to get points before the world competition in just a few weeks. Hickman said it's always impressive to see how quickly crews turn this venue into the perfect place for bull riding.
"The transformation to go from hockey to bull riding and back to hockey and concerts after," Hickman said. "It's no small feat and a testament to those guys that they are able to make it happen."
The PBR starts at 7:45 PM on Friday and 6:45 PM on Saturday.
