Florida Teen Runs Mile To Honor Fallen Osage County Deputy

A 13-year-old from Florida ran a mile on Monday carrying a blue line flag to honor Osage County Cpt. William "Willy" Hargraves.

A 13-year-old from Florida ran a mile on Monday carrying a blue line flag to honor Osage County Cpt. William "Willy" Hargraves.

"I'll be running with the blue line flag in his honor. I'll be doing seven laps around the track by my school which is the equivalent of one mile in his honor. I'll be joined tonight by many first responders, supporters and my whole family joining us in this mile," said Zechariah Cartledge.

Zechariah is the founder of Running 4 Heroes. He runs to raise awareness and money for the families of fallen first responders.

A public viewing for Capt. Hargraves will be held on Thursday, August 25, at Trout Funeral Home in Ponca City.
