Jenks, Union Rivalry Continues With MidFirst Bank Backyard Bowl

The 19th MidFirst Bank Backyard Bowl between Jenks and Union is set for Friday night.

Nearly $500,000 to both schools through the partnership MidFirst Bank with the money going toward education and scholarships. Coaches for Jenks and Union are looking forward to the challenge and say there's something special about the games.

“It is such an honor to be a part of this great rivalry. Each year, the MidFirst Bank Backyard Bowl is a wonderful experience for both teams and our communities. “The MidFirst Bank Backyard Bowl is a rival game that continues to deliver. Tulsa is blessed to have one of the best rivalries in the nation,” said Union Head Coach Kirk Fridrich.
