Innovative Teacher: Meagan Williams

News On 6 is teaming up with Every Kid Counts Oklahoma to recognize innovative teachers from across Green Country.

This week, we’re recognizing Meagan Williams, a 2nd grade paraprofessional educator at Wilson Public Schools. Meagan is a paraprofessional educator who spent this summer crocheting her students' bears that are their reading buddies to help them achieve their Accelerated Reader goals. She created "The Beartastic Readers" where students can earn accessories for their bears when they achieve their goals. Every kid in that class LOVES their bear and has been reading nonstop! Meagan has poured her heart and soul into this project! She loves those kids and those kids love her!
