A group of special needs kids had some fun in airplanes on Saturday.
This was at the fourth annual "Challenge Air Fly Day."
It's an event that recruits pilots to donate their time and aircraft to fly kids with special needs.
Unfortunately, it was too windy to fly in the sky, but that didn't stop the fun.
Kids still got to get inside the airplanes and tax around the Tulsa Riverside Airport runway.
"Our mission is to build confidence and self esteem in kids who get to fly, so we put them in the aircraft and they get to fly the airplane," said April Culver, Challenge Air Executive Director and CEO.
The event comes to Tulsa every October.
