American Airline Passengers May Be Entitled For Baggage Fee Refund

Passengers who paid checked baggage fees with American Airlines in the past nine years could be entitled to a refund. 

The carrier has agreed to dish out more than $7 million in a class-action lawsuit settlement after customers were wrongfully charged bag fees.

Some travelers from 2013 to 2021 were hit with fees on a ticket that should have included free checked bags.

The airline said they are setting up a website for the claims.
