OHP Releases New Information On School Safety Initiative

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says its on track to meet Governor Kevin Stitt's Executive Order, "Mission Secure Oklahoma Schools."

Every trooper is required to have Active Shooter Emergency Response.

OHP says 708 troopers have been trained and 90 are now certified instructors.

They also work with the RAVE app, to help notify troopers in the event there is an active shooter.
