22-Year-Old Woman Killed In Ottawa County Crash

A 22-year-old woman died Tuesday morning after a crash in Ottawa County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Paige Martin died at the scene on OK-10 after a crash near Wyandotte around 9:45 a.m.

OHP says Martin, of Grove, was driving north in a 2015 Chevy Cruze when she lost control, crossed the center lane and hit a southbound 2021 Chevy Trailblazer head-on.

The 31-year-old man driving that vehicle was treated and released from the hospital in good condition, OHP says.

OHP says that man was pinned in his vehicle for 15 minutes and freed by the Wyandotte Nation Fire Department.

OHP said unsafe speeds and wet roadways may have contributed to the crash.
