The LIV Golf Tour tees off in Broken Arrow in May and state leaders say they are excited about it.

Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell says Oklahoma golfers like Taylor Gooch and Charles Howell III lobbied to bring the tour to their home state.
The tournament, which will be the third major golf tournament in Green Country in three years, is set to be televised on the Tulsa CW.

Lieutenant Governor Pinnell says the tour will have a huge impact on the local economy.
"We're rolling out the red carpet. There will be thousands and thousands of people, we hope tens of thousands of people coming to the city to enjoy those three days out there at Cedar Ridge," said Pinnell.

The LIV Tour will be at Cedar Ridge May 12th through the 14th
