Tulsa County To Install New Storm Sirens

Tulsa County plans to add new storm sirens to its system but says it is finding they will cost more than expected.

New sirens, with installation, will cost $47,000 dollars each. That's more than $10 thousand dollars over the original price from last year when the county applied for a grant to buy them.

The county says it is coming up with the extra funds and the new sirens will be added in Turley, North and West Tulsa and Glenpool.
