Man From Depew Dies After Crash In Creek County, OHP Says

A man has died after a crash in Creek County on Monday afternoon, OHP said.

William Newman, 68, from Depew, Oklahoma, was pronounced deceased at a local hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash, OHP said.

OHP said Newman was traveling westbound on the Turner Turnpike when he departed the roadway.

During the sudden departure, he hit drainage rocks and rolled an unknown amount of time, OHP said.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, OHP said.
