Skiatook Family Safe After Escaping Mobile Home Fire Overnight

A Skiatook family is safe on Thursday morning after escaping a mobile home fire that broke out overnight.

Firefighters say a woman woke up around midnight and saw the fire and helped her dad and child escape.

Firefighters on scene say it took 30 minutes to get the fire under control. Fire officials say one firefighter suffered a small cut, but no one else was hurt.

Officials say the cause of the fire is under investigation.
