1 Injured In Shootout Between 2 Cars In Tulsa, Police Investigating

A shooting involving two cars Sunday evening in Tulsa resulted in a passenger being shot in the face and taken to a hospital, police say.

Officers with the Tulsa Police Department were near 41st and South Zenith Avenue with one of the vehicles they say was involved in the shooting.

Police say multiple callers, including OHP, say two cars were shooting at each other on I-244 near 41st street across the Arkansas River.

TPD said the shot passenger was shot in the face and suffered a brain bleed.

They said the car had 14 bullet holes at the scene.

The driver on the scene with police was briefly detained and police said everyone involved was being uncooperative.

TPD is still investigating what led to the shooting.
