Glossip has had several execution dates after being convicted twice for killing Oklahoma City businessman Barry Van Treese in 1997.

Two juries have convicted Glossip, saying he orchestrated Van Treese's murder. But dozens of Oklahoma lawmakers, celebrities and current Attorney General Gentner Drummond say that conviction should be thrown out over questions about the key witness and the fairness of the trials.
